Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Overview

Sunshine Terrace is now hiring a housekeeper on a part‑time basis! We're looking for someone that will ensure that a healthy, clean, presentable, and uplifting environment exists for all patients, staff, and guests.

Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. Below are the primary responsibilities:

• Collect and organize all laundry items, including personal items of residents and bedding.
• Label, wash, dry, fold, and hang laundry for residents.
• Return laundered items to residents in a timely and organized manner.

• Clean assigned areas on schedule, including restrooms, resident rooms, common areas, dining rooms, nursing stations, shower rooms, soiled linen rooms, halls, etc.
• Vacuum, dust, wash windows, sweep, mop, and other floor care tasks.
• Gather and dispose of trash and perform deep cleaning of rooms when vacated.
• Adhere to cleaning procedures and wear all required personal protective equipment.
• Meet quality and quantity requirements in a timely manner and keep all required cleaning records.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including confidentiality requirements.

• Strip and refinish flooring or shampoo carpets as needed.

• Must be able to be on your feet for most of the day.
• Must be able to lift heavy loads, with or without reasonable accommodation.

1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Reports directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Hiring for weekend shifts:
Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. Some Fridays may be scheduled if desired. Typically off Monday through Friday.
