Sunshine Terrace Foundation is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. Strong communication skills are required for this role.

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical equipment.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, vendors, and management regarding maintenance requests and project updates.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks to support the safe and efficient operation of facility systems.
• Respond to urgent maintenance needs, including occasional after-hours situations.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately and promptly.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures, regulations, and facility policies.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Previous maintenance experience preferred; healthcare, senior living, or skilled nursing experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or vocational training preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
