Position Overview

Location:

Lexington Square, Lombard, IL

Pay Rate: $17.50 USD/hour

Work Shift:

Evening (3-7pm)

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our senior living community. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and team members.

Responsibilities
  • Clean resident apartments, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, dining rooms, activity spaces, and offices.
  • Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize surfaces according to community standards.
  • Complete laundry service needs.
  • Empty trash and replace liners in resident and common areas.
  • Replenish supplies such as soap, paper products, and cleaning materials.
  • Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures.
  • Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and supply needs to supervisors.
  • Interact respectfully and professionally with residents, families, and coworkers.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects and community events as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and resident privacy at all times.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous housekeeping, janitorial, hotel, healthcare, or senior living experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, standing, walking, and reaching throughout the shift.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent service to seniors.
