Catering Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, service-driven Catering Manager to lead and execute catering operations for corporate events, private functions, and weddings.

This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring a strong on‑the‑floor presence. You will oversee food service execution, guide clients through menu selections, lead service teams, and ensure every event is delivered seamlessly from start to finish.

• Serve as the primary catering lead for assigned events
• Maintain a strong floor presence during all events to oversee service flow and guest satisfaction
• Lead and direct service staff during setup, execution, and breakdown
• Ensure catering setups align with timelines and service standards
• Work directly with clients to guide menu planning and service style
• Communicate clearly with kitchen, service, and event teams
• Monitor food quality, timing, and presentation
• Troubleshoot and pivot quickly in live‑event environments
• Uphold all health, safety, and food service standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Proven experience in catering, hospitality, or event leadership
• Strong understanding of food service operations and event execution
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills
• Ability to lead teams in high‑pressure environments
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

• Availability to work evenings and weekends

• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of shifts
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
