Tues­day – Friday 10‑hour shifts. Weekends as needed.

The HVAC Technician performs preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshoots, and services industrial HVAC systems in multiple acute and non‑acute care hospital settings under the direction of the Senior HVAC technician. The technician tests and analyzes data to assure proper functioning of equipment. Under the supervision of the Division Senior HVAC technician, the HVAC technician reliably maintains all equipment per HCA Healthcare Engineering standards to ensure the highest level of efficiency and to reduce business interruptions.

The position requires good organization, accurate record‑keeping using HCA Healthcare’s computerized maintenance management system, and clear professional communication. The role requires travel to acute care hospitals and associated free‑standing emergency departments in the division.

• Maintain chilled water and centralized air handling units through regularly scheduled preventative maintenance activities
• Perform coil cleanings, filter changes, test and balance activities, sensor calibrations, and UV bulb replacements
• Belt alignments and replacement, drain pan treatments, damper calibration and repairs, cleaning interior of AHU
• Perform electrical safety inspections
• Read and comprehend blueprints, specifications, and operations manuals
• Perform work to the highest industry and manufacturer recommended standards
• Follow all applicable federal, state, and local safety guidelines including lock‑out/tag‑out, OSHA, confined space, PPE, etc.
• Complete and document all work, equipment conditions, and labor time using HCA Healthcare Engineering Central Computerized Maintenance Management System

• High School Diploma or equivalent – Required
• 1 year of experience in a commercial, industrial, or healthcare environment – Required

• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification – Required (90‑day grace period to complete after hire)
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing – Required
