Overview

We are looking for an Environmental Services Associate to join our amazing team!
Responsibilities- Cleans public areas and residents’ apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios, windows, floors, furniture, and common areas
- Performs all housekeeping duties including distributing laundered articles, linens, replacing and hanging draperies, changing beds, cleaning public restrooms, and replenishing supplies as needed
- Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors; cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, draperies; dusts furniture and equipment; polishes metalwork
- Washes walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
- Performs all laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing resident laundry and community linens and textiles in provided appliances; folds and/or hangs laundry appropriately; distributes laundered articles and linens
- Mants resident laundry areas, mopping floors and washing walls regularly
- Washes windows at reasonable heights throughout the community as requested
- Keeps utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition
- Disinfects and sterilizes equipment and supplies; stocks cleaning cart with supplies
- Empties wastebaskets, transports trash and waste to disposal area; ensures with maintenance that trash and dumpster areas are clean
- Completes maintenance work orders for any repairs needed
- Reports resident issues, changes in health or living status, and potentially unsafe conditions promptly to Supervisor
- May perform other duties as assigned
- Connects and helps residents transition from home to community through thoughtful engagement at every level of interaction
- Arrives to work on time; absence and tardiness are minimal
- Appearance is neat, clean, and according to dress code
- Observes safety and security procedures
- Uses equipment and materials properly
- Ability to work varied schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
