Position Summary Ecology Auto Parts Inc., a leading transportation services company based in Cerritos, CA, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lubrication Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our transportation fleet while upholding our commitment to environmental sustainability. The Lubrication Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, conducting inspections, and maintaining accurate records to optimize vehicle performance and comply with environmental regulations.
Responsibilities- To perform this job successfully you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
- Perform routine lubrication services on our transportation fleet, including oil changes, greasing fittings, and fluid top-ups.
- Conduct regular inspections of truck components to identify potential issues and perform lubrication maintenance in accordance with environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of lubrication services performed, including lubricant type and quantity, inspection findings, and any additional maintenance or repairs required.
- Monitor and manage lubricant inventory, ensuring an adequate supply of environmentally friendly lubricants at all times.
- Adhere to safety standards, environmental regulations, and proper handling and disposal procedures for hazardous materials.
- Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting lubrication-related issues, collaborating with other technicians or mechanics as needed.
- Clean and maintain lubrication equipment, ensuring proper functioning and identifying any repair or replacement needs.
- Coordinate with team members and supervisors to ensure effective communication and teamwork in performing maintenance and repairs while upholding our commitment to environmental responsibility.
This position offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $19 to $23 per hour, commensurate with experience. - High school diploma or equivalent.
