Position Summary The Maintenance Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of locker room, restrooms and the rest of the facility and readiness for meetings through setups. Under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance and the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of the JLB/AJCC facilities. All work performed by the Maintenance Associate prioritized the health and safety of the members, visitors, and staff on the premises and anticipates the needs and provides what is needed to keep all areas of the facilities running smoothly and effectively.
Essential Position Responsibilities Housekeeping functions including the regular and special cleaning of the building and grounds
Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools; vacuums, brooms and mops Daily inspections of all rooms to ensure safety, cleanliness and timely repair as needed
Assist with the setup of facilities for meetings, conferences, and events
Perform cleaning and related activities such as removing debris from sidewalks and stairs
Carry and communicate through the walkie-talkie
Attend to emergencies when necessary for custodial assistance
Minor grounds keeping duties
Assisting with directing traffic for our parking lot Maintain the highest quality of courtesy, friendliness and service excellence toward members, visitors and staff
Understand and support the AJCC’s mission and values
Work effectively with all staff members
