Hourly: $20.50 to $22.50

Mechanical Express Specialist – responsible for performing a variety of repairs to keep U‑Haul's fleet operational to high standards. Utilizes U‑Haul proprietary technology and tools. Works in a fast‑paced environment.

• Repair equipment using appropriate tools to conform to U‑Haul standards.
• Effectively follow work‑order directions.
• Perform work in a timely manner.
• Determine causes of operating errors and decide on corrective actions.
• Clearly identify and professionally express issues, both positive and negative.
• Continued U‑Haul equipment education is required.
• Provide assistance in additional areas as directed by supervisor.

• Positive attitude.

• Understanding of automotive/trailer mechanics.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Work involves moderate risks or discomforts requiring safety precautions (moving parts, fumes, chemicals). May require protective gear (masks, goggles, gloves). Requires physical exertion, including standing for long periods, traversing spaces, repositioning tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. (assisted or unassisted).
