Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Trade

Location: 300 Second Avenue, Long Branch, NJ 07740 (Monmouth Medical Center)

Department: Plant Operations

Shift: Night

Pay Range: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour (New Jersey)

The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.

• Perform scheduled compliance inspections and complete repairs throughout the facility, including basic HVAC, electrical, and plumbing troubleshooting.
• Conduct preventative maintenance activities to keep building systems safe and operational.
• Respond to patient-related concerns and other maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Inspect the environment of care and identify potential safety hazards before they become issues.
• Support life safety initiatives, including fire boundary inspections and preventative maintenance of firefighting equipment.
• Use work request systems to document tasks, maintain records, and track completed work.
• Coordinate and oversee outside contractors to ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with organizational standards.
• Contribute to a safe, comfortable, and healing environment for patients, visitors, and team members.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent and a minimum of three years of experience in hospital or industrial maintenance/construction. A valid New Jersey Driver’s License is required.
