What started as a small group meeting to study the Bible and pray for their friends eventually took action to become one of the first churches in Longmont on July 5, 1891. Having grown beyond their original city block on Coffman Street, the church relocated to its current location on Highway 66 in 1991.
In 1995, exponential growth led to a major building expansion — and a shift in identity. The church began transitioning from an primarily attractional model to an externally focused one, and in 1999, First Christian Church became Life Bridge Christian Church.
Over the years, Life Bridge has always been about leading people in their next step toward Jesus. Beyond the weekend experience, people connect through Rooted groups, community‑serving opportunities, and a wide range of ministry programs. You’ll find a welcoming place centered around helping people grow closer to Jesus’ love, hope, and grace.
TodayLife Bridge is busting at the seams — in the best possible way.
We recently completed a building fund initiative and have moved to three services to keep up with the growth. Story after story of people coming to know…
