Make Technician

Position: Make Ready Technician
We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Make Ready Technician to join our property management team! This role is responsible for preparing apartment homes for new residents by completing repairs, painting, cleaning support, and ensuring units are move-in ready in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and takes pride in providing quality work and excellent customer service.

Schedule

* Full-Time

* Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

* Occasional on-call or weekend work as needed

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare vacant apartment homes for new move-ins

* Complete touch-up painting, drywall repairs, and basic carpentry

* Perform minor plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance repairs

* Replace locks, blinds, fixtures, and appliances as needed

* Assist with groundskeeping and community cleanliness when needed

* Report any major maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor

* Ensure all units meet company standards prior to resident move-in

* Maintain inventory of supplies and tools

* Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

* Previous make ready, maintenance, or property management experience preferred

* Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repairs

* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

* Strong attention to detail

* Excellent customer service and teamwork skills

* Valid driver's license preferred

* HVAC/EPA certification is a plus but not required
