We are looking for people passionate about both success and the product to join our Grow Team to take ownership of grow rooms and care for plants on a daily basis. The role requires being goal driven, detail oriented, and good at communicating. A willingness to analyze your own work and make adjustments is a plus. This role requires consistent collaboration with other experienced growers and a support team such as sprayers and maintenance technicians to deliver best in class products.
Responsibilities- Own flower rooms and maintain plant health through daily check-ins, evaluation of plant health and happiness, spot watering, canopy management, and adjusting room environment or grow process as needed
- Monitor and maintain irrigation system including nutrient mixing, monitoring of nutrient EC, pH, and temperature, and adjusting auto irrigation cycle as needed
- Complete regular plant maintenance including popping, topping, defoliating, and weaving
- Communicate with support teams and management regarding plant happiness, pest outbreaks, and equipment issues (irrigation, tables, lights, etc.)
- Monitor temperature, humidity, and CO2 levels daily according to company standards and make adjustments as needed
- Support other grow team members, including spraying for pest management and supporting colleagues in other grow rooms or outside of grow rooms
- Timely completion of work per schedule and strive to increase productivity through coordinated workflow and process improvement recommendations
- Ensure accurate plant inventory including strain names per tray and count of plants; keep documented logs and notes of room metrics and plant care actions for company records
- Analyze data of current and past harvest cycles to continuously improve grow processes and standards
- Maintain clean grow rooms and work spaces at all times by regularly sanitizing tools and equipment to ensure sanitary practices and pest prevention; use PPE as required: gloves, lab coat, tinted eye protection
- Perform all other duties as necessary as assigned by supervisor/manager

- Experience in an agricultural setting is a plus, but not required
- Marijuana product knowledge and passion is a plus, but not required
- Serve as role model for other employees and encourage adherence to safety practices, policies, and procedures
- Have strong service and quality focus; address issues effectively when problems arise and take initiative to understand root causes, then communicate/educate the team in a timely manner
- Must be 21 years of age or older to apply
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
- Work on your feet for 8-10 hours a day
- Work in crouched or uncomfortable positions including repetitive motions for extended periods
- Work in low-light conditions with green lamps for several hours at a time
- Lift and carry up to 70 lbs
- Regularly move up to 40 lbs
- Work time expectation: 80-90% of the time will be physical labor
- Five-day work week defined by the needs of the business: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
