Senior Custodian

Senior Custodian responsibilities involve skilled and semi‑skilled cleaning, housekeeping, and general maintenance duties across acute and non‑acute inpatient, outpatient, and non‑patient areas. The role requires careful use of supplies and equipment. Tasks include resilient tile and carpet care—stripping, waxing, and carpet extraction/shampooing—as well as various housekeeping duties as assigned.

• Previous experience working in a service industry position
• Previous experience interacting with internal and external customers
• Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Ability to work in various locations, as well as rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

• Demonstrated custodial experience working in a healthcare environment
