Position: Work Execution Manager (Maintenance Manager 3)
** What You Will Do*
* Lead the team that keeps mission-critical facilities safe, reliable, and ready to perform.

As the Work Execution Manager (WEM), you will provide technical leadership and day-to-day management for the MSS-WFO work execution team. This is a highly visible opportunity to shape maintenance strategy, strengthen operational performance, and uphold world-class standards in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

You will oversee facility maintenance and work management activities supporting various weapons programs, including installations and modifications, corrective maintenance, and preventive and predictive maintenance. Working closely with the Maintenance Manager and the broader WFO Facility Operations and Maintenance management teams, you will ensure work is planned, coordinated, and executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with operational priorities.

In this role, you will:

+ Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of superintendents, technicians, and skilled workers.

+ Direct facility maintenance and work execution activities in support of safe, reliable facility operations.

+ Oversee installations, facility modifications, corrective maintenance, and preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

+ Partner with operation, programmatic, maintenance and work management leaders to align resources, schedules, and priorities with mission needs.

+ Champion compliance with safety requirements, authorization-basis requirements, company policies, and applicable regulations.

+ Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase facility reliability, reduce costs, and strengthen maintenance performance.

+ Support the development and implementation of effective, sustainable maintenance programs.

+ Apply strong technical judgment to resolve complex facility, engineering, and work execution challenges.

+ Build a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture.

Job Requirements:

* ** Facility & Project Management:
** Extensive knowledge of and experience with facility or project management, including systems engineering, design and maintenance, safety and authorization basis, configuration management, work control, and facility control systems. Extensive experience supporting major construction projects, facility upgrades, renovations, and system modifications. Extensive knowledge of government regulations and requirements affecting facility maintenance and project management.

** Maintenance Operations:
** Extensive knowledge of facility and site work hazards, safe work practices, operating configurations, and lockout/tagout policies and procedures. Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and interpret mechanical, electrical, and physical-system documents, including blueprints, drawings, and schematics. Demonstrated success identifying performance issues, evaluating alternative solutions, and determining effective corrective actions. Strong technical knowledge of facility maintenance, engineering, and work execution in complex operating environments.

** Leadership & Team Development:
** Demonstrated experience managing and supervising employees, including responsibility for human resources administration.

Demonstrated ability to develop and implement organizational strategies, priorities, and objectives. Proven success providing clear direction, mentorship, prioritization, and performance management. Ability to lead in a collaborative and participative environment while building strong, capable, and accountable teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical, operational, and management organizations.

** Education/

Experience:

** Position requires a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution and 5 years related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation.

** DOE Order 426.2A

Minimum Requirements:

** Position requires a bachelor of science degree in engineering or related science, and 4 years nuclear experience. Education or experience that is job related may be substituted on a case-by-case basis. The degree may be used to substitute up to 50 percent of the experience requirement.

+ Demonstrated experience with LANL business systems for management and administration of personnel including timekeeping, payroll, budgeting, travel, training and certification, performance reviews, and payroll policies and procedures.
