Maintenance & Transportation Coordinator

About the Role:
The Maintenance & Transportation Coordinator is responsible for safely transporting clients to and from day programs, medical appointments, and other approved destinations, while also providing routine maintenance and repair support across company locations. This role is hands-on and task-driven, with work performed under established procedures and supervision.
General Duties:
- Follow all company safety, HIPAA, and compliance policies .
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and vehicle supplies.
- Report safety concerns, building damage, or compliance issues to leadership promptly.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support program operations
Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including painting, patching holes in walls, replacing light bulbs and fixtures, replacing smoke detectors, replacing door knobs, basic plumbing repairs and heating/cooling maintenance.
- Assist with furniture assembly, minor repairs, and general upkeep of company properties.
- Coordinate with managers or vendors for repairs beyond scope.
- Maintain accurate logs related to maintenance requests.
- Promptly respond to maintenance requests when received.
Transportation:
- Safely transport clients to and from day programs, medical appointments, and community outings.
- Assist clients with entering and exiting vehicles as needed, ensuring dignity and safety.
- Maintain clean, safe, and operational company vehicles.
- Follow all traffic laws, company driving policies, and client confidentiality standards.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs promptly.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
- 2+ year(s) experience in hands on general maintenance, facilities support, or a similar role.
- 2+ year(s) professional driving experience preferably in a healthcare or client-facing setting, including transporting clients, passengers, or goods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Strong reliability, time management, and communication skills.
- CPR/ First Aid Certification
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Certification
