The Corporate Interior Mover, based in Torrance, CA, is responsible for the safe and efficient relocation, assembly, and disassembly of office furniture and equipment within and between commercial buildings. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a professional demeanor when working with clients and team members. The primary goal is to ensure all assets are handled with care, moves are completed on schedule, and disruption to business operations is minimized.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

-    Safely load, unload, and move a wide variety of heavy materials and office equipment (desks, chairs, cabinets, modular furniture, IT equipment, etc.) within rooms, across sites, and into/out of moving vehicles.

-    Wrap, pack, and pad furniture and sensitive items in protective materials to prevent damage during transport. Use appropriate techniques for fragile or valuable equipment.

-    Disassemble and reassemble modular furniture systems, desks, and conference tables as necessary, using provided tools and following instructions to ensure proper setup in the new location.

-    Follow detailed floor plans or client instructions to place furniture and equipment in the designated areas of the new office space.

-    Assist with taking inventory, ensuring all items are accounted for, labeled correctly, and tracked throughout the move process using established procedures or software.

-    Adhere to all company safety standards and protocols, including proper lifting techniques and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to prevent injuries or property damage.

-    Use moving equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, and panel carts safely and efficiently.

-    Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, supervisors, and team members, and work collaboratively to address unexpected challenges or changes in plans.

-    Manage the relocation of specialty equipment, PCs, and peripherals, and may be required to disconnect and reconnect IT equipment.

-    Must have a valid driver's license as you will be driving the Company provided truck.

-    Must be fork-lift certified.
