Job Title
Janitorial Manager
Responsibilities- Lead the custodial team and oversee the quality and execution of each job.
- Evaluate team members’ work, provide performance feedback, and recommend advancement to management.
- Provide training to new and experienced team members as needed.
- Carry out daily reporting from customer complaints to transportation issues.
- Maintain flexibility regarding work shifts, days off, and changing duties as required.
- Perform cleaning services as needed, using detergents and cleaning solutions according to specifications.
- Focus on internal guests, listen to associate issues, suggest positive actions, and demonstrate self‑motivation, multitasking, prioritization, and sound judgment.
- Execute all department administrative duties, including material ordering, supplies management, and time‑card processing.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and vacuums.
- Report repair needs, safety issues or other conditions to maintenance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Five years of relevant work experience in Facilities Management.
- Computer literacy, including MS Office suite.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to maintain effective relations with customers, management, and peers.
- Adequate trade knowledge to estimate labor hours and materials, and visualize the job.
- Good planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to understand what constitutes good instructions.
- Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
- Capability to follow and apply safe practices for job assignments and equipment used.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver’s license.

CompensationCompensation will be between $76,200.80 and $89,648.00, based on factors such as collective bargaining agreement coverage, geographic location, market pay rates, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
