A Day porter is responsible for maintaining common areas of office buildings, apartment houses, or other commercial or institutional buildings in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties:

Schedule:

Monday
- Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Job Location:

Agoura Hills , CA

• Spot clean the lobby glass doors
• Polish chrome on lobby doors
• Vacuum elevator cabs and wipe cab doors, walls, and tops twice a day
• Inspect the building exterior and pick up any trash
• Clean ashtrays and sand urns on every floor
• Empty and clean exterior trash receptacles
• Check restrooms twice daily
• Vacuum lobby once a day or as needed
• Sweep stairwells and landings as needed
• Remove all debris from landscaped areas as needed
• Sweep building entrances
• Clean and remove smudges and marks on walls, doors, and wall covering
• Report any lights out (exit, directory boards, etc.) to the Management Office
• Report any solicitors to the Management Office
• Where applicable, police lobby to keep floors and planters free of paper, debris, etc. Policing should be scheduled at high-traffic times each day. Empty all trash receptacles
• Vacuum carpeted floors
• Dust mop lobby floors twice daily
  
  Polish elevator cab railings and doors and main lobby call buttons
• Assist building Engineer daily per Management discretion

• Aspirar las cabinas de los elevadores y limpiar puertas, paredes y techos de las cabinas dos veces al día
• Inspeccionar el exterior del edificio y recoger cualquier basura
• Limpiar ceniceros y urnas de arena en cada piso
• Vaciar y limpiar los contenedores de basura exterior es
• Revisar los baños dos veces al día
• Aspirar el vestíbulo una vez al día o según sea necesario
• Barrer escaleras y descansos según sea necesario
• Retirar todos los desechos de las áreas ajardinadas cuando sea necesario
• Barrer las entradas del edificio
• Limpiar y eliminar manchas y marcas en paredes, puertas y recubrimientos de pared
