Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Position Summary

Location:
Los Angeles International Airport, Los Angeles, CA.Pay range: $30.15 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provide troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of building maintenance equipment.
- Input accurate maintenance data into the CMMS system.
- Perform emergency, unscheduled, and scheduled maintenance repairs of building equipment.
- Drive and operate various equipment such as golf carts, company vehicles, and forklifts.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and services.
- Complete all PM, CM logs, and paperwork.
- Comply with the company safety program and training.
- Work flexible shifts as operationally needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned or needed.
Stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear. Frequently climb or balance in small spaces, perform ladder work, and regularly lift or move up to 70 pounds. Must work in outside weather conditions on an airport ramp and confined areas of baggage conveyor systems.
Work EnvironmentWork similar to airport operations with vehicular traffic. Exposed to moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, outside weather conditions, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, cold, and vibration. Noise level is usually loud. Employees work on an airport ramp around aircrafts and heavy equipment.
Minimum Requirements- Valid driver license.
- Basic knowledge of building maintenance; painting, patching, light electrical work, plumbing.
- Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing large equipment.
- Badged to work in secure areas of an airport.
- Willing to work day or night shift, including weekends and holidays.
- 1–3 years’ experience in maintenance operations.
- Familiarity with airport operations.
