Nutrition Staff

Reports to: School Operations Manager

Start Date: Immediate

Position Summary:

The nutrition staff position is responsible for the daily operations of serving meals and maintaining a clean and breakfast/lunch area, and supporting with housekeeping duties.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for serving breakfast, lunch, snack, and associated clean up.
• Follow policies and procedures for health, safety, and nutrition.
• Maintain open communication with supervisor, staff, students, and parents
• Responsible for monitoring meals for allergies and auditing orders
• Maintain and clean the facility including bathrooms, kitchen, classrooms and common areas.
• Responsible for associated clean up after student meals.
• Follow policies and procedures for health and safety.
• Perform maintenance on appliances or equipment as needed.
• Maintain open communication with supervisor, staff, students, and parents
• Other duties as assigned.

Salary:

$13.50 per hour, 40 hours per week. 11-month position.

If employee is working at least 30 hours per week, Employee will be entitled to participate in designated employee benefit programs and plans established by Equitas Academy (subject to program and eligibility requirements) for the benefit of employees. Time off:

6 sick days, given as lump sum. 2 weeks of vacation time, accrued.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Compliance requirements including fingerprinting and TB test
