Plant Engineer – Colonie Center, Albany NY

Pacific Retail Capital Partners, LLC (PRCP) is seeking a dedicated Central Plant Engineer to support the daily maintenance and operation of our building. In this role, you will perform general maintenance, assist with building repairs, respond to tenant work orders, and help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment. Working alongside the property management team, you will play an important role in ensuring tenant satisfaction while supporting the overall functionality of the property.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of general building maintenance practices.
• Ability to perform minor electrical, plumbing, and repair work.
• Experience safely using hand tools, power tools, and personal protective equipment.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and complete required paperwork.
• Understanding of workplace safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify building deficiencies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Communicate effectively with tenants and the property management team.
• Perform minor maintenance on interior and exterior lighting systems.
• Address plumbing issues, including leaks, stoppages, and overflows.
• Assist with major repairs and maintenance of building systems and equipment.
• Respond to and support tenant service requests.
• Set up meeting rooms and perform minor office furniture moves.
• Hang and mount wall pictures and artwork.
• Monitor and reorder maintenance and building supplies.
• Conduct visual inspections of the building's interior and exterior.
• Complete required daily, safety, and timekeeping documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
• Ensure proper storage, use, and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
