Field/Service Technician, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Job Overview
The LDAR Technician will perform leak detection and repair (LDAR), utilizing applicable data collection and evaluation techniques. Responsibilities include maintaining records, operating complex analyzers and instrumentation, and optimizing system performance.
Key Responsibilities /Accountabilities- Perform LDAR policies and procedures according to assigned project site protocols.
- Conduct daily analyzer calibration.
- Carry out routine repair and maintenance of analyzers.
- Execute quarterly certification of analyzers.
- Coordinate LDAR field activities with contract technicians.
- Maintain and complete monitoring schedules.
- Repair leaking components.
- Generate work requests and follow up on LDAR maintenance repairs.
- Maintain record-keeping on monitoring and repairs.
- Identify LDAR components and conduct applicability reviews.
- Perform work in adverse weather conditions on the field (hot/cold environments, inclement weather).
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Required work at heights, including climbing tower ladders up to 100 feet and ascending/descending stairs of ten flights or more.
- Ability to bend, stretch, walk, and climb with a 30‑lb. backpack for up to 10 hours a day on concrete and/or steel surfaces.
- Ability to wear a full‑body harness and fall arrest system in addition to a 30‑lb. backpack carrying monitoring equipment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Pass a pre‑employment background check, drug screen, and physical examination.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range for this position is $22 per hour. Compensation depends on experience, education, key skills, geographic location, client requirements, external market competitiveness, and internal equity among employees at APTIM.
