About this position

Project Manager for maintenance operations within the Lakefront Management Authority. The role involves overseeing maintenance operations of non‑flood protection facilities within a levee district.

• Provide supervision to maintenance contractors, assigning work and addressing issues.
• Oversee repair, maintenance, and renovation of energy management systems in Terminal and airport facilities.
• Monitor weekly generator tests and coordinate annual testing.
• Ensure day‑to‑day maintenance operations maintain functionality and environmental compliance.
• Observe repair, maintenance, and renovation of energy management systems in LMA facilities.
• Assign routine maintenance tasks (changing air filters, replacing light bulbs, cleaning HVAC components) to lower‑level maintenance personnel.

• Minimum two years of on‑job experience in one of the following:
  • Four years of experience or training in building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment, or park operations and grounds maintenance; OR
  • Completion of a two‑year vocational technical program in general building construction, construction technology, or engineering plus two years of experience in the specified fields; OR
  • Twelve semester hours in construction management, construction technology, or engineering (or equivalent) plus two years of experience in the specified fields.
