Position:
Community Grounds Keeper

Reports to:

Community Manager and Service Supervisor

The Community Grounds Keeper is responsible for keeping the grounds of the community in an attractive condition; and for keeping exteriors, common areas, vacant apartments, sidewalks, and alleyways of the community in a clean and safe condition. The Grounds Keeper also assists in other types of maintenance when necessary.

• Provides service to residents in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner when needed.
• Walks the entire property daily picking up all debris and trash, operating the compactor, and emptying all common area trash cans.
• Keeps curbs and speed breakers painted and in good repair.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the service manager.
• Maintains and cleans the pool and pool area.

• High School Graduate or GED for consideration.

• CPO (Certified Pool Operator) desired.

• One to two years related experience preferred, but not necessary.
• Must be a well‑organized self‑starter who can work efficiently with little supervision.

• Completion of in‑house training within the first 90 days of employment.
• Enjoys the work they do, demonstrates a pleasant demeanor on the job, and shows a desire for success.
• Exhibits behavior that is consistent with the Vision, Mission, and Core Values of the Company; makes the working environment enjoyable for self and others.
