Custodian

Custodian 1, 2, or 3 – Facilities and Maintenance Department

Position summary:

performs routine and specialized cleaning duties to maintain campus buildings and facilities. No experience or training required.

• Perform custodial duties to maintain clean, safe, and sanitary buildings and grounds.
• Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, common areas, windows, walls, and floors.
• Sweep, mop, dust, polish, strip, buff, and wax floors as needed.
• Empty trash receptacles and properly use cleaning products and equipment.
• Maintain custodial supplies and equipment and assist with inventory activities.
• Set up furniture for meetings and events, perform minor maintenance tasks, and report facility repair needs.

• Location: SOWELA Technical Community College – Lamar Salter Campus
