Location: New Orleans
Job Overview
Technical and supervisory work overseeing employees performing skilled mechanical repair and maintenance on a diversified fleet of cars, trucks, and other similar equipment; performs related duties as required.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or G.E.D. Equivalency Diploma.
- A valid driver's license.
- Either:
Permanent status with the City of New Orleans and at least four (4) years of experience in an automotive classification at pay grade 68 or higher. - Or:
Seven (7) years of journeyman experience as an automotive mechanic, with at least one (1) year at the supervisory level.
Prior to appointment, the hiring agency must verify education and license(s) claimed by the applicant.
