Overview
Building Contractor Engr at Anytime Fitness in New Orleans, LA is a full-time, on-site role responsible for ensuring club facilities are safe, functional, and aligned with brand standards. The role involves overseeing building maintenance activities, coordinating repairs, and working with vendors and contractors to complete construction, remodeling, and improvement projects. The Building Contractor Engr will inspect facilities regularly, identify issues, and implement preventive maintenance plans for plumbing, mechanical systems, and structural components.

- Manage facility-related documentation and ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Coordinate repairs and collaborate with vendors and contractors to complete construction, remodeling, and improvement projects.
- Work hands-on and communicate clearly with stakeholders; plan proactively to support a clean, efficient, and member-friendly environment.
- Collaborate with club management to minimize downtime and disruptions to operations.
- Strong skills in Building Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for fitness clubs or commercial facilities.
- Experience in Facility Management (FM), including coordination of contractors, vendors, and maintenance schedules.
- Practical knowledge of plumbing systems and related repairs within commercial or recreational buildings.
- Ability to design and implement Preventive Maintenance programs for mechanical, structural, and safety systems.
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and best practices for health and fitness facilities.
- Relevant technical certification or associate/bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects, and respond promptly to facility issues.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a commitment to a safe, inclusive, and member-focused environment.
