FMM is seeking a motivated professional to fill our Maintenance Technician position. FMM is a maintenance and construction company servicing both residential and commercial clients nationwide.
EssentialJob Duties and Responsibilities
- Make decisions using the 5 values of FMM:
Quality, Teamwork, Integrity, Safety, and Versatility. - Responsible for all preventive maintenance, necessary maintenance, and minor repairs to the buildings mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
- Possess working knowledge of building mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, life safety, fire protection, and security systems to ensure proper operations.
- Act upon any conditions that are out of the ordinary.
- Conduct periodic general preventative maintenance, including lubrication, adjustment, cleaning, replacement of consumable parts, and periodic testing of equipment.
- Perform general building maintenance as needed.
- Manage day-to-day operations and scheduling of Facilities Technicians to perform general repairs and maintenance.
- Assist technicians with issues at client facility.
- Perform all assigned work to ensure the safety of building occupants and continuous operation.
- Be familiar with and conform to all written operating procedures associated with the site.
- Adhere to operating procedures to ensure staff operates efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure client contract compliance is upheld.
- Manage vendor contracts, reviewing with client as needed.
- Maintain communications with client, responding to all phone calls and requests in a timely manner.
- Address problems with staff and vendors to provide seamless service to clients.
- Generate and send standard reports to clients.
- Review open and completed work orders to ensure accuracy of labor, parts, and vendor costs.
Skills and Abilities
- 5 years experience in a general maintenance role.
- Knowledge of commercial systems.
- Tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft programs.
- Ability to perform maintenance related tasks in the field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- A take initiative mindset.
- A strong focus on customer relations.
- Valid driver's license and clear driving record.
- Ability to pass a drug screen.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
- Ability to pass a Fit for Duty Screening.
Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
