Maintenance Manager, Industrial Maintenance
A leading industrial manufacturing organization is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations at a large-scale production facility. This leadership role is responsible for driving safety, reliability, workforce development, maintenance productivity, and operational performance. The Maintenance Manager will play a key role in supporting site objectives through effective resource planning, process improvement, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Promote a strong safety culture by actively engaging with teams in the field and ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
- Oversee contractor activities to ensure safe and efficient execution of maintenance work.
- Lead, coach, and develop maintenance personnel through continuous performance management and employee development initiatives.
- Manage maintenance department budgets and provide input into long‑term reliability and asset management plans.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on maintenance processes, operating discipline, productivity, quality, cost reduction, and equipment reliability.
- Lead or support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations related to maintenance, reliability, and safety incidents.
- Improve workforce accountability, planning, scheduling, and resource utilization to achieve operational goals.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, engineering, reliability, and EH&S teams to improve plant performance.
Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline and at least 5 years of maintenance or operations experience; OR
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least 9 years of maintenance or operations experience.
Additional requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of direct leadership experience supervising maintenance personnel, turnaround activities, or plant operations.
- Proven experience developing and implementing maintenance work processes and operational systems within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to influence stakeholders and drive organizational change.
- Experience with maintenance planning, reliability programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
- Valid U.S. driver's license required.
- Chemical, refining, petrochemical, or other heavy industrial manufacturing experience preferred.

Compensation: $130,000 - $198,000
Schedule Options: 4x10s, 9/80, or 5x8s
