We are currently seeking a full-time Housekeeper I to join our team, specifically focused on working with seniors. Previous experience in maintenance is preferred. The ideal candidate will maintain and enhance the value of the apartment community, in a timely, professional and courteous manner.
Providence Community Housing is a 501(c)3 nonprofit affordable housing developer and property manager serving the Greater New Orleans area. With almost 20 years of development experience and over 1,700 residential units developed to date, Providence has taken over the property management functions of Christopher Homes, Inc. and is proud to add their 60-year history of excellence to our team managing over 2,400 senior affordable apartments.
We focus on the production and preservation of affordable housing and empowering strong communities.
A typical day in the life of a Housekeeper I working with seniors involves general cleaning assignments of common areas, offices, storage, lobby areas, laundry room, lounge, elevators, and stairwells. This position also cleans apartments for move-ins as assigned, and maintains inventory and organization of supplies.

We're looking for a candidate who:

- Is reliable and adaptable.
This is a full-time position, typically Monday through Friday.
Please note that this position requires the successful completion of drug and background testing as part of the hiring process. The drug test does not screen for marijuana.
