General Labor Premium Facility Services is looking to add a Maintenance Technician to our growing team! The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining various sites in a state of operating excellence so that they meet the performance needs of the organization, supervises crews and jobs; schedule staff; communicate with Maintenance Foreman.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will have the responsibility of...
- Working on repairs, renovations and upgrades to parking lots and buildings as directed
- Communicating with subcontractors and vendors to coordinate orders, deliveries, parts, and work.
- Performing routine maintenance around facilities such as repairing structural damage, painting, wall repair and lighting
- Maintaining equipment in good working order
- Repairing and identifying potential safety hazards, using PPE when needed
- Communicating and working in a timely manner, keeping all informed of progress of assignments as necessary
- General knowledge of basic maintenance procedures
- Basic knowledge of electrical and painting procedures as well as concrete repairs
- Flexible availability
- Self-motivated, responsible, reliable, and detail-oriented individuals
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for up to 8 hours at a time, and work outdoors
