QUALIFICATIONS:

Skilled in the maintenance of school district building facilities, equipment, and grounds relative to caring, cleaning, repairing and replacing

REPORTS TO:

Building Evaluator or designee

SUPERVISES:

None

JOB GOAL:

To be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all assigned areas of the site building plant, facilities, grounds and equipment

TERM:

Twelve (12) months

SALARY:

Custodian Salary Schedule-NIV

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Complete maintenance activities of building facilities, equipment and grounds as directed by head custodian, building evaluator, or custodial supervisor.

* Follow state, school board and school policies relative to the safety and security of buildings, equipment and supplies.

* Maintain and/or prepare equipment and supplies as necessary for various

* Submit requests for janitorial materials, supplies, equipment as needed

* Work cooperatively with other custodial staff, head custodian, building evaluator, custodial supervisor, and other school district personnel as necessary to perform assigned duties.

* Adhere to schedule for routine and special tasks as approved by the building evaluator and head

* Attend in-service training as required by the custodial supervisor and/or building evaluator

* Perform other related duties as assigned by the custodial supervisor and/or building evaluator
