This Position
The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of maintenance and custodial tasks to include but not limited to, conducting repairs and preventative maintenance to low rent housing, operating equipment, performing grounds maintenance, collecting litter and cleaning units/make ready.
Minimum Qualifications- Two years of experience or training in the building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment, or park operations and grounds maintenance; OR
- Completion of a two-year vocational technical program in general building construction, construction technology, or engineering; OR
- Twelve semester hours in construction management, construction technology, or engineering, or any combination of these courses.

Job Duties and Other Information- Makes general repairs to buildings, interiors, exteriors, furniture, fixtures, air conditioning/heating systems, and other mechanical and related fields such as painting, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical.
- Performs minor maintenance on all equipment assigned.
Appointment Type: Probational Appointment
Career Progression: This position does not participate in a CPG.
Work Schedule: Work hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Thursday. On Call one week a month.
Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
