Polk County is seeking seasonal maintenance staff to support county conservation lands, facilities, and equipment under supervision. Duties include lawn care, cleaning facilities, minor repairs, and operating mowing and custodial equipment.
Applicants should be at least 18, possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. This part-time/on-call role requires background checks, a valid Iowa driver’s license, and completion of a post offers physical examination.
