About This Job
The Office of State Parks (OSP) serves the citizens of Louisiana and visitors by preserving and interpreting natural areas of unique or exceptional scenic value, planning, developing and operating sites that provide outdoor recreation opportunities in natural surroundings, preserving and interpreting historical and scientific sites of statewide importance and administering intergovernmental programs related to outdoor recreation and trails.

Job DutiesJob Duties and Other Information
- Performs custodial duties necessary to maintain clean and sanitary conditions of facilities.
- Cleans interior and exterior of facilities at site.
- Operate fee station at park entrance.
- Assist in upkeep of site grounds and facilities.
- Assists in collection of appropriate fees from site visitors.
- Provides a high level of customer service and assists customers with inquiries.
- Requires the ability to stoop, bend, balance, kneel, crouch, sit, stand, and walk on a regular daily basis.
Location: Lake Bistineau State Park, Doyline, LA
Appointment Type: This position will be filled as a part-time Classified WAE
, limited to 1,245 working hours in a 12 month period.
Starting Hourly Pay varies, depending on experience.
Work Schedule: Part-time;
Mon-Sun;
Weekends and Holidays may be required.
