Data Center Construction Security Officer

• Maintain a clean facility by completing a variety of cleaning tasks
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum building floors
• Use chemical cleaners and power equipment according to procedures
• Dust and wash furniture, walls, machines, equipment, ceilings, and light fixtures
• Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment manually or with hand trucks
• Remove stains from rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors
• Clean and vacuum carpeted areas, including spot cleaning
• Gather and empty trash and recycling
• Clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms
• Clean overhead vents, dust blinds, and polish wood furniture
• Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
• Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding for events
• Keep the janitor's closet neat and orderly and maintain equipment in good working order
• Requisition cleaning and maintenance supplies and equipment
• Monitor building security and safety, including locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use
• Notify managers about minor or major repair or building-operation needs
• Maintain effective working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers
• Comply with company, client, and regulatory safety, security, compliance, and quality standards
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must pass appropriate background checks
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 40lbs
• Ability to climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs to access elevated equipment
• Ability to stand for long periods of time in various work environments
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for equipment-related tasks
• Basic physical fitness to respond quickly to emergency situations and navigate areas quickly
• Ability to move quickly and efficiently within various work environments to troubleshoot issues or respond to emergencies
• Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity for working with small components and connectors
• Clear vision, with or without correction, to perform tasks requiring attention to detail and precision while wearing safety glasses
• Ability to differentiate between color-coded warning signs, labels, and cables
• Ability to work in environments with a wide variety of temperatures inside a facility
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, or snow
• Capability to work in environments with elevated noise levels while wearing hearing protection
• Possession of a valid driver's license for work-related travel, as required
• Preferred:
  Customer Service Experience
• Preferred: 1 year of similar work experience
• Monday through Friday, 07:00–03:00pm

Demonstrates proficiency in a variety of cleaning tasks, including the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, while maintaining safety and compliance standards. Capable of managing physical demands of the role, including lifting, climbing, and working in diverse environments.
