Great opportunity to work for our fast-growing company, Guardian Professional Services! We are currently recruiting experienced cleaner to clean Buses for a day shift. Here at Guardian we are looking for someone who is energetic, detail oriented, motivated and able to work independently or in a team. Schedule: 26 hrs. per week

Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 6:00 pm

Hourly Rate: $19:20

Ideal candidate needs to drive from JFK to LGA. Willing to work 10 hours a day. The primary function of the cleaner is to clean both inside and outside of vehicles while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Close Supervision- The cleaner is assigned duties according to specific procedures. Work is checked frequently, and in addition there may be formal training.

• Take direction from supervisor in cleaning inside and outside of vehicles.
• Light washing of bus exteriors
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming of bus interiors
• Cleaning windows and bathrooms
• Sanitizing all touch points in bus interiors
• Wash inside and outside of windows using cleaners and available materials.
• Sweep inside of buses. Wipe down seats and interior of buses.
• Wash Bay down at the end of each day.
• Follow all prescribed Safety methods and perform work safely.

• Assist co-workers with specific tasks when needed.
• Perform other duties assigned.

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Requirements:
Valid Driver license.

• Knowledge of hazards related to cleaning supplies.
• Ability to understand and follow oral instruction sufficient for following cleaning instructions.
• Speech and hearing sufficient for regular daily communication with employees and supervisors.
• Hold and maintain a valid NYS Drivers License and Evidence of Insurability
• Be Safety conscious and demonstrate the ability to follow prescribed safety practices to prevent injuries to self and others.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Manual hand dexterity sufficient for using cleaning materials.
• Lift up to 10 lbs. frequently to hold supplies needed to clean a bus.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally when heavy supplies are needed.
• Occasionally push pull, climb, balance crouch, kneel and reach sufficient to access all areas of the bus.
• Frequently stoop, squat and bend for working around low areas of the bus.
• Vision sufficient to inspect work to ensure cleanliness will meet customer expectations.

Pay: $19.20 per hour

Expected hours: 26 per week

• 8 and 10 hourshift
• Day shift
• Weekends as needed
