Maintenance Manager, Industrial Maintenance
KENT Nutrition, a member of the KENT WORLDWIDE™ family of companies, has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join our team in Sheldon, Iowa. In this role, you will lead maintenance operations that keep our facility running safely, reliably, and efficiently. Working alongside a skilled team of maintenance professionals, you will drive equipment reliability, support production success, and champion continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen operational performance and help deliver quality products to our customers.

- This position is designed and intended to be performed in Sheldon, Iowa.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the daily execution of maintenance activities to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of equipment, facilities, and infrastructure.
- Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs that improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance team members through effective training, scheduling, performance management, and succession planning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and operational issues while ensuring timely and cost-effective repairs.
- Partner with production, engineering, and other departments to prioritize maintenance activities and support operational objectives.
- Manage the maintenance budget, including labor, parts, contractors, and capital improvement projects, while identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, a related technical field, or a combination of education and relevant experience preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience developing and implementing equipment, process, and facility reliability solutions in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience leading maintenance teams and driving operational results.
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Strong leadership, communication, and employee development skills.
- Experience utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Working knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements within a manufacturing environment.
- Up to 10% travel as business needs require.
