Part-Time Custodian

Position: Part-Time Custodian

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Reports To: Group Sales Manager

Pay: $18/hr

The custodian will ensure the buildings are tidy, clean and well-maintained. The custodian will sweep, mop and vacuum floors and dust surfaces. You will clean walls, ceilings, windows and other surfaces. To ensure success you need to prioritize tasks and take pride in your work.

• Keep all areas of the Museum, Barrels & Billers, Corporate Offices, and Event Spaces clean.
• Ensure restrooms are cleaned and fully stocked routinely throughout the day.
• Maintain all janitorial equipment.
• Disposing of trash and emptying trash receptacles.
• Notifying the Custodial Lead of any repair work needed in bathrooms or throughout the building in a timely manner.
• Work with Events Manager to ensure event spaces are clean.
• Available to work after-hours events.

• Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.

• High School Diploma
• Self-starter
• Proactive
• Must be able to climb ladders
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. on a regular basis
• Must be available to work weekends
• Must be available to work evenings as needed.
