Temporary / Event Assignment Industry: Event Staffing / General Labor Position Overview Allegiance Staffing is hiring Event Set-Up / Tear-Down Laborers for an upcoming conference at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, KY. A temporary retail store will be built inside the conference venue to sell merchandise and event swag. Laborers will assist with unloading materials, setting up merchandise displays, moving inventory and totes, and preparing the store before the conference begins.

After the event, team members will assist with breaking down the store and preparing materials for removal. This is a physically demanding general labor position and requires candidates who are comfortable lifting, carrying, bending, and being on their feet throughout the shift.

• Unload pallets, merchandise, displays, totes, and supplies
• Move merchandise and materials to designated areas
• Set up tables, displays, fixtures, and retail areas
• Position totes and inventory throughout the temporary store
• Unpack merchandise and assist with stocking displays
• Move boxes, supplies, and equipment throughout the conference site
• Maintain organized work and staging areas
• Assist with breaking down displays after the conference
• Pack merchandise, fixtures, and supplies for removal
• Load materials during event teardown
• Follow directions from event supervisors and merchandise staff
• Perform additional general labor and material handling duties as assigned

• Previous general labor, warehouse, event setup, material handling, moving, stocking, or construction experience preferred
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment
• Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physical labor
• Must be available for assigned setup and/or teardown shifts

• Must be able to lift and carry 40 lbs. or more
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and reaching
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks
• Comfortable moving merchandise, boxes, totes, displays, and other materials throughout the venue

• $20.00/hour
