Shift: 6:30am-3:00pm, every other weekend off!!

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Graduate preferred, with housekeeping experience helpful.
• Able to speak, understand, read and write the English language.
• Effective communication, listening and time management skills.
• Willing to promote the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual and social well being of the aged in accordance with the core philosophy of the Little Sisters of The Poor.
• Spirit of cooperation in order to create a home-like atmosphere conducive to promoting the wellness of each individual resident. Having respect and sensitivity to confidentiality issues.
• Dependable, able to follow directions, possessing an eye for detail.
• Flexibility to work the days and hours assigned as well as a variety of work tasks.
• Ability to perform the essential duties as described below.

Work Environment: Primarily Indoors.

Work Pace: Variable, self-paced; requiring the ability to complete specific assigned tasks In time allotted.

• Responsible for cleaning all resident rooms, bathrooms, offices, chapel and common areas of the facility (Tasks including, but not limited to dusting, dry/wet mopping, vacuuming, emptying garbage and recyclables, replacing bathroom supplies, and polishing floors/surfaces) as assigned.
• Report changes in resident physical, emotional or mental status as observed.
• Respect and handle all chemical cleaning agents appropriately per manufacturers directions.
• Follow all facility departments, safety and infection control policies appropriately. Monitor pest control.
• Monitor and report maintenance needs. Monitor housekeeping supply usage and replacement.
  
  Participate in continuing education and inservice programs as required.
