Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Day Porter to help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our commercial properties. This role includes driving a company truck between sites, collecting trash, and performing general exterior upkeep to ensure our properties remain clean, safe, and presentable for tenants and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Drive a company truck to assigned properties on a daily route.
- Pick up trash and debris from parking lots, sidewalks, landscaped areas, and common spaces.
- Empty exterior trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
- Perform light groundskeeping duties such as sweeping, blowing debris, and minor cleanup tasks.
- Inspect properties for cleanliness, safety concerns, and maintenance issues.
- Report damages, hazards, vandalism, or repair needs to management.
- Maintain company vehicle in clean and safe operating condition.
- Follow all company safety procedures and traffic laws.
- Provide courteous and professional interactions with tenants, vendors, and the public.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate a pickup truck or light‑duty company vehicle safely.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, and lifting throughout the day.
- Dependable, punctual, and self‑motivated.
- Prior porter, janitorial, landscaping, or property maintenance experience preferred but not required.
- Full‑time / Part‑time (as needed).
- Day shift, Monday through Friday (some weekends if needed).
