Floor Technician Position Overview

The Floor Technician is primarily responsible to perform the day‑to‑day activities of the Environmental Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility.

• Cleaning floors to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting, etc.
• Ensuring that proper safety signs are set up prior to performing floor cleaning activities.
• Cleaning carpets, to include vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
• Cleaning walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, deodorizing, etc.

• High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
