Entry-Level Autobody Paint Technician – Paid Training

About the Role

Join our team as an Auto Body Paint Technician Trainee. You’ll receive paid training, transportation, lodging, and meals while learning advanced spray equipment and techniques. After training, you’ll work independently at partner locations, delivering high‑quality paint touch‑ups and full surface repairs for automotive customers.

• Travel to automotive customers to perform high‑quality minor paint touch‑ups to full surface repairs.
• Prep, blend, and finish vehicle surfaces to perfection using advanced spray equipment.
• Work independently at partner locations such as dealerships, rental agencies, and auctions.
• Deliver fast, flawless results that exceed customer expectations.

• No experience required; a positive attitude and aptitude with hand tools are essential.
• Self‑motivation, grit, and a strong work ethic.
• Strong attention to detail and color accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑first mindset.
• Detail‑oriented with a passion for quality and precision.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Manual dexterity for repetitive‑motion tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Physical ability to kneel, bend, squat, and lift up to 45lbs.

• Paid training with compensation at the hourly rate.
• Transition to phased combination of hourly rate and commission with uncapped earning potential (actual earnings vary).
• Estimated total annual earnings range from $70,000 to $150,000+.

The starting compensation is expected to be: $22.05 per hour. The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

All candidates selected for an offer will undergo post‑offer, pre‑employment screening appropriate to the role, including a physical examination, vision assessment, background check, and drug screening, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

In accordance with NIOSH Respiratory Protection Standards Dent Wizard Technicians are required to wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the form of a respirator.
