Position OverviewThis position is responsible for supporting the smooth operation of engineering teams, preparing mission-critical equipment and materials, maintaining engineering laboratories, and promoting a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and inventory management skills, and a friendly, flexible work ethic aligned with customer requirements.
Responsibilities- Maintain accurate inventory records and update databases regularly.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely restocking with procurement teams.
- Implement 5S principles for efficient materials storage and workspace organization.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring timely repair or replacement of equipment.
- Support preventative maintenance and calibration of engineering equipment.
- Coordinate logistics for equipment deployment and relocation.
- Promote a safe working environment and ensure proper use of PPE.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness and safety standards.
- Accurately document accumulated knowledge and procedures for future reference and training.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
- Demonstrates expertise in arranging, maintaining, and optimizing physical work spaces, tools, and materials for maximum efficiency and accessibility.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Friendly and adaptable work ethic with a customer-focused mindset.
- Effective communication and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to follow established procedures with minimal supervision.
- Basic analytical and technical problem‑solving skills.
- Familiarity with engineering equipment (e.g., lab instruments, testing devices).
