As a Jr Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities include maintaining and repairing the facility as scheduled and collaborating with the Maintenance Technician to uphold the structural integrity and overall upkeep of the building. Additionally, you’ll handle cleaning duties for both the interior and exterior areas of the property, along with landscaping tasks when needed. Solid maintenance knowledge and skills preferred, with experience in property management being helpful.
Whatyou will be doing?
- Perform daily inspections of grounds, parking lots, and common areas.
- Repair minor issues in buildings and foundations, including roofs, ceilings, walls, floors, basements, and mechanical systems.
- Perform sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming of all floors as required.
- Ensure cleanliness of management offices, clubrooms, kitchens, common areas, and bathrooms as necessary.
- Regularly empty all trash cans on a daily basis and dispose of waste in designated areas.
- Conduct daily garbage collection around the property.
- Assist the maintenance team with tasks such as painting and fulfilling work orders as needed.
- Utilize a range of skills including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and more to conduct maintenance, repairs, and preventative measures.
- At least 2 years of maintenance technician experience.
- Knowledge of basic maintenance (painting, carpentry, drywall, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Computer literacy required.
- Landscaping and cleaning experience helpful.
- A valid and current driver’s license is required for this position.
