DescriptionJOB TITLE:
Facilities Equipment Maintenance Mechanic
Functions / Duties:
Maintenance, installation, or retrofitting of facilities and wafer fab support systems. Ability to be multi-skilled and be able to work in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools,
- Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and maintain electrical control devices. (Variable Frequency Drives)
- Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance
- Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Minimum Requirements :
- High School Diploma or G.E.D, or equivalent experience with trade certification and basic safety and power tools knowledge. 2+ years of similar work experience preferred.
