Apprentice

Position Description

Performs routine work for the purpose of developing the skills and knowledge required to become a qualified member of a recognized craft or trade.

• Executes duties deemed necessary by supervisory-level Facilities Operations personnel.
• Performs on-call duties as an essential personnel of the institution and at the direction of the institution.
• Participates in PM, inspections, and repairs as required on systems and equipment in assigned areas.

• Experience reading blueprints.
• Experience and/or knowledge of commercial plumbing & electrical work.

Completion of high school or equivalent plus six months related experience. Additional education or experience may substitute on a year for year basis.
