Job Overview

As a Maintenance Technician at Fitch Irick, you’ll play a key role in keeping our properties running smoothly and safely. You’ll work with a team of dedicated professionals while maintaining beautiful living spaces and ensuring a high quality of life for our residents. Every day presents a new challenge, from routine maintenance to emergency repairs, and we need someone who is proactive, detail‑oriented, and passionate about keeping our communities in great shape.

Your

Impact
  • Take ownership of the upkeep of the grounds, buildings, and amenities, including cleaning, trash removal, and regular inspections.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance to keep HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems operating smoothly.
  • Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance requests, minimizing disruption for residents.
  • Assist with unit turnovers by ensuring clean, functional spaces that meet Fitch Irick standards.
  • Handle emergency repairs efficiently and document incidents for insurance purposes.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and Fair Housing standards.
Who We’re Looking For
  • At least 1 year of general maintenance experience (experience in property management is a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and a proactive mindset.
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 100 pounds, bend, stoop, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Reliable, collaborative, and able to take ownership of tasks.
  • EPA/CFC certification is preferred.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Ability to occasionally travel between properties.
