As a Maintenance Technician at Fitch Irick, you’ll play a key role in keeping our properties running smoothly and safely. You’ll work with a team of dedicated professionals while maintaining beautiful living spaces and ensuring a high quality of life for our residents. Every day presents a new challenge, from routine maintenance to emergency repairs, and we need someone who is proactive, detail‑oriented, and passionate about keeping our communities in great shape.
YourImpact
- Take ownership of the upkeep of the grounds, buildings, and amenities, including cleaning, trash removal, and regular inspections.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance to keep HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems operating smoothly.
- Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance requests, minimizing disruption for residents.
- Assist with unit turnovers by ensuring clean, functional spaces that meet Fitch Irick standards.
- Handle emergency repairs efficiently and document incidents for insurance purposes.
- Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and Fair Housing standards.
- At least 1 year of general maintenance experience (experience in property management is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and a proactive mindset.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 100 pounds, bend, stoop, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable, collaborative, and able to take ownership of tasks.
- EPA/CFC certification is preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Ability to occasionally travel between properties.
